And with a huge leap of faith I take my first serious step into the world of blogging. The question remains whether most good blogs are really blogs. There is nothing loggy about them (i.e. not a diary). Neither will this, in the strict sense, be a blog.

Welcome to in my All Stars, a website that will hopefully soon become a good place to find articles on what I like to call experience traveling. Experience travelers are people who enjoy spending their free time traveling with the aim of gaining new insights into the fantastically diverse world we live in. The term is more general than it might sound: whether it a day-hike, a weekend city visit, or a month-long backpacking trip to a faraway country, it all belongs to the realm of experience traveling. I will write based on my own experiences and, although I hope to entertain from time to time, articles will be primarily functional in nature.

Long-term goals are at this moment a little bit scattered. My first goal will be to build-up some valuable content and, hopefully, a decent readership. I also want to see if I can get other writers involved, especially ones that can focus on areas of the world that I don’t have much authority on. But like I said, it’s too early to discuss this in greater detail. I’ll keep you informed.
